Pasadena: Coordinated Demonstrations Draw Attention to Big Oil’s Role in California Wildfires
PASADENA, Calif. – Union members, residents who lost their homes in recent wildfires and environmental leaders will hold rallies and demonstrations on Tuesday, March 11 in Southern and Northern California.

Union members will call on CalPERS, California and the nation’s largest pension fund, to ensure pension funds are not further fueling the fires.
Event participants will finish painting a large-scale mural using ash collected from the burn site in Altadena. The mural painting will be led by Eddie Aparicio, a local artist who also lost his home in the Eaton Fire, and the mural will travel to Sacramento next week.
